I just set up a meet and greet with the local home birth MW for this Saturday at 12:30! I'm so excited! My first prenatal appointment won't be until I am 9-10 weeks along but I am so happy to get started planning our home birth!!

UPDATE:

OK so the meeting went well, REALLY well! She is amazing! But here is the problem lol, she doesn't accept our health insurance. She actually accepts our old health insurance that we just canceled a little less than a month ago I was pretty prepared for this because I do a lot of research and I tried to prepare DH but he is NOT happy. She charges $5,000 if we pay cash, she sets up a payment schedule. But even if I were to use the hospital MWs like I did with my last birth, with our new insurance there is a $2,000 maternity deductible. So either way we would have to pay money. DH's argument is that 2K is a lot less than 5K. The thing that bothers me is that we can more than afford to pay for the home birth. He has no problem spending stupid amounts of money on his hobbies like baseball, or anything for himself. I'm kind of bummed, but I have a feeling I will get the home birth I'm just going to let him sulk for a bit haha. I can't get officially excited until he agrees. He is totally on board for home birth, just not the financial part. I just can't imagine going to the hospital again and there are no birth centers around here. Maybe I am just being dramatic So that's the update!

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

Sorry I didn't update, I don't get much time to get on here on the weekends! The MW called me early Saturday morning to let me know that she got called to a birth and wasn't going to make it to our appointment so we rescheduled for tonight! I will update when I get home!

Thanks for thinking of me!
