My dh thinks I am insane. LOL. The midwife I have chosen sent out an e-mail to all her clients and prospective clients that stated she was not taking any patients with due dates july 5- Aug. 29. So, if you want to use her and have a HB, to not get pregnant before Dec. 5. Of course I told dh, that we were waiting because she is the first MW that has agreed to let me attempt a homebirth due to my medical history and thinks that it won't even be a problem. As much as I want to get preggo, I am so willing to wait so that I can have a home birth or at least give birth with an AMAZING midwife. Does this make me crazy? If you were TTC and you knew there was a time frame your MW couldn't deliver would you try to TTC around that date?

As someone who has a midwife that I LOVE, who happened to be out of town when I went into labor, and was attended by backups who were very competent but 1) not MY midwife and 2) chose a bad hospital for us to transfer to, causing a vicious spiral of events, I have told my husband we'll be calling my midwife for all dates she'll be out of town before we TTC.

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

Ditto! I'd do the same thing! As much as you want to be preggo, it's not too horrible far away! Definitely worth the wait!
