Will you pack a "just in case" bag in the event you need to transfer?

No. If I have to be transfered for any reason, it will be kicking and screaming. Someone would have to bring me stuff!!

Absolutely - having been present at 2 transfers, including my own, it really makes things so much better to have one.

I think that I would just have my husband go back and get some things in that event. After the birth.

Ugh, hadn't even thought of it. Birthing in a hospital is pretty much my worst nightmare come true...I hate to prepare for such an event.

we didn't. We lived 4 blocks from the hospital so I figured anythign necessary could easily be grabbed. Next time around I will probably have a bag packed since we're farther now

I did not for any of my three home births. My midwife said to make sure we knew where my insurance info/wallet was but that I didn't need a bag unless I wanted one.
