My midwife isn't a fan of pill prenatals. She says you can't even digest half of what is in them because of the form they are in.
She has me taking alfalfa, chloraphyll, calcium/magnesium combo in liquid form, and red raspberry leaf and nettle tea daily.
I can't remember what all are for now. The RRL tea is for uterine toning, Nettle is for building my blood to prevent PP hemmorhage, the I think the chloraphyll is for the blood also. Don't remember about the alfalfa.
teh cal/mag is awesome though. No leg cramps and amazingly helps with headaches!
