I was just wondering since im new to homebirth. What did you put baby in after birth. We had a coming home outfit for the hospital but since im not delivering there I wasn't sure if I should just put him in a onsie and swaddle him or some pajamas or what? Its summer but we do have air conditioning so I wasn't sure.

I bought something like this except it is dark brown and has a hat.

baby love cocoon ? whip up

I dont think it would be too hot bc they are naked besides a diaper in it. Then again I am having my baby in November.

I'll probably have a onsie and light sleeper around to put her in after she is born and use whichever one is best for the temp in the house. On hot days, our house can be really warm even with AC (especially upstairs) but days it's only in the 70's the house usually stays cooler.

We're having a waterbirth so

lol, we're goofballs.
But seriously, that's just for a few photos.
We have 2 onsies: one that says I love my homebirth(in case babe isn't born in the tub) and the other says waterbaby.
Since we're at home, we have a ton of clothes, hats, socks, blankets and whatnot to put on baby.
If we happen to end up at the hospital I packed some sleeper thing and a hat.

I'm thinking just a diaper and a blanket, but then again it will be Jan/Feb, so maybe a sleeper too? I think we're just gonna play it by ear!

I got Max this shirt in blue. The woman changed from etsy to cafe press so I don't know if the quality is the same. He just wore a pair of pants with it.
