What one thing do you love most about your midwife?

Probably how motherly she is. She treats me like I am her daughter. I feel so much more comfortable.

I haven't made the switch to the home birth midwife quite yet, but some things I love about my CNM that I've been with for 5 years is that she has taken the time to get to know ME. I'm not just a pregnant patient, I feel more like a daughter and she takes time for small talk not just pregnancy talk and cares about what is going on in my life. And my care revolves around what *I* want, not what is convenient for her.

I like that she gives information and then tells us to research details and come to our own conclusions. Much better than hospital scare tactics and lies.

I can text her at any time and she will answer me. She's very warm and knowledgeable, and just makes me feel secure. She is also cool with the fact that I birth pretty hands-off and like quiet.
