First time mom so I can't really answer. I think we're ready for this, if not, too late now! Mostly I just hope it goes as planned. I know there are unexpected things that come up, but hopefully the main plan(home in the tub) works out.
My last birth was a freestanding birth center birth, so pretty much like a home birth. One thing that I would like to do differently this time is try not to freak out during pushing and (1) stay in the tub if I can, (2) touch the baby's head when she is coming out, and (3) actually look at the placenta this time. For some reason I couldn't do any of the above last time. I won't beat myself up if I can't, though.
I haven't had one yet, so right now what's most on my mind is thinking of ways to keep the kids occupied and also hoping that I have the energy at the end to keep my house clean enough!! With 7 kids and a dh that doesn't do much, it's not an easy job even when not pregnant.
