Hey ladies! I'm a mommy of two awesome kids, 10 year old daughter and 4 year old son. Baby number three is 4 LOOOONG (yes..i'm miserable so these are going to be the longest four weeks ever) weeks away. I'm headed this afternoon for a 36wk risk assessment with a different midwife than the one i'm using for my birth. Just wondering what to expect? Thanks gals! I've really enjoyed being a lurker for a bit now...fun to jump in and join!!
Hmm, I have no idea. I don't know what a 36 week risk assessment is. I just keep doing my regular appointments with my midwife. I don't think there was anything different about that appointment. Well, I think we did the group B Strep test that week?

i just got back from it. yes...that's pretty much all it entailed. I guess some just have different license's here and so i needed to see a different one with a different licenses? i'm not sure...but it was painless and she was a delight.
Sorry didn't see this until now, my 36 week appt was at my home and we just discussed that if I did go into labor in the 36th week it was up to me if I wanted to deliver at home or not before 37 weeks.
