My husband and I have decided to try for our 3rd and final child. We are still unsure if we will start right away or wait a few months but I will be sticking around here either way. I just had my copper IUD removed
I have 2 little girls already, ages 3 and 5. My first was a hospital birth. My water started leaking and the doctor was worried about infection ans sent me to the hospital to be induced. Pitocin is awful. I had horrible contractions very close together. I was not allowed to use their tub, I could not get up and walk around, they wanted me flat on my back. The one thing they didn't stop me from doing was going to the bathroom. So I got up and went in there as often as I could. It was a stressful birth. From the time my water started leaking to the time I had my baby it took 25 hours.
I had a home birth with my second. It was so much more relaxing. I sat on my couch and watched tv with my little girl. I was able to go to my backyard and watch my daughter play. I had a water birth. It is amazing how much of a pain relief the water is. My labor and birth only last 5.5 hours.
I have had 2 miscarriages before the girls and one after the girls. So I am a little nervous about trying, but I am very excited at the same time. I cannot wait to have another home water birth!!
