At my last appt with my midwife, she gave me a sheet of paper listing supplies that we'll need to get for the home birth. When we got home, my husband and I were looking through the list. Most items seemed logical... large towels, pan for the placenta, sanitary napkins, baby stuff, birthing tub, etc etc. But then, we get to an item that says: "1 Fish Net". My husband and I both made this face:
Just a suggestion: targets here sell little butterfly catchers (kids toy for catching bugs) for just $1 at this time of year. The cheapest fish nets I have found are twice that and super small. I like the butterfly catchers for my mama's just because they are bigger and get the goop out of the tub so much easier than chasing little poo pieces with a super small fish net.
