Yesterday my MW came over for a consultation visit. She isn't the same one I used with ds2, but I have known her for a year. She's going to do all the visits in my home, which is nice with 2 kids and our next one will be around 10 or 12 weeks. Super excited!

That is great! If I ever manage to get pregnant and stay that way, the midwife I want to have does all the third trimester checks in the home. I will have to go to her before that point though.

YAY!! My m/w was doing home visits but then she got too busy to do it, so I had to start going to her house. It was nice while it lasted, though!!

Yeah my first MW I had to go to her house all the time. It was ok until I got big and then it sucked.

In-home visits! That will be super nice! We had to drive an hour one way for all my midwife appointments last time (living in PA), and now it looks like we will be doing the same again this time (Now living in GA). It's so worth it though to have a good HB midwife!

That's awesome she comes to you! Most of my appointments were at my midwife's house which was an hour drive for me. I had my first consult at 5 weeks and my first appointment at 12 weeks. Waiting for the appointment was the longest 6 weeks ever.
