Hi home birthers! I'm Erin. I'm 30 and I'm thinking about a HB for #2 (who has yet to be conceived). I had an awesome natural water birth at a birth center with DD. I was open to the idea of a HB last time but I had the typical FTM jitters about home birthing, my house is really small, and we don't even have a tub. Now that I'm a confident BTDT natural mama, I'm throwing around the idea of a HB for my next and last birth. My insurance probably won't cover it (we're on crappy student insurance as we're both grad students) but I'm willing to shell out the dough to cover a HB if that's what I really want.
Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself before I jump in!
Home birth is amazing! Do it! You wont regret trying, but you might later on if you don't and miss your opportunity. If at any time you want to transfer to a birth center or hospital, that's always an option.
