1st homebirth: MW, DH, DH's sister
2nd homebirth: MW, DH, my sister
3rd homebirth: MW, DH
Having only the MW and my DH was my favorite. I loved the intimacy of it, the quiet, no chit chatting going on around me, etc.
This time it's just DH and the MW again, but we are considering a photographer. We have very few photos from any of our births and I think I would like to have some special ones done. I may have found someone who can just be a fly on the wall and not be a distraction to me. Still on the fence though, not sure if just having an extra person in the room will feel too intrusive or not.

last time i had my DH, and our 2 midwives. MIL and FIL were also there to help with DS1
i expect we will have the same people present this time (plus DS2)

MW, assistant, DH, dd1. My sister was supposed to be there but I had dd2 on the ONE day my sister couldn't be there 
Future homebirths: DH and I. Maybe FIL to watch kids. Maybe MW, not sure if there is one in the area we're moving too.

I had my midwife, her assistant, my hypnobabies instructor and a photograhper. Next time I would like the same people. Not sure yet what we will do with dd during the next birth. Oh and my husband, he was there too

My 2 midwives, 1 assistant, my husband, Lyndsey (navywifey2003), photographer, my 3 children and my parents(they were not actually around me when I delivered) seems like a lot of people lol but when I was downstairs my parents and kids were upstairs and when I went upstairs my parents and kids went downstairs.

That's one of the two concerns I have about maybe HBing next time. We have no family in town or for thousands of miles for that matter. I want someone here to watch DD, who will be about 3 when the time comes. I have a friend in mind who will say YES before I finish asking her. We're good friends but I'm just not sure if we're "watch me birth" good friends. I had zero problem birthing in front of relative strangers (MW & her assistant) at the BC. But I guess we'd need someone at the BC to watch DD because I want her there either way. I guess I'm rambling. I wish my mom or sister would just move out here!

My m/w, 2 birth assistants, my DH and my mom. My older three were there but not for the delivery (because they were sleeping).

DS1: In hospital. DH, MIL, SIL, a friend, my midwife, a couple of nurses (because midwife #2 wasn't there yet. I was fast). My mom was supposed to be there, but missed it too.
DS2: At home (accidentally). DH caught baby. + my mom and dad. EMT 10 mins later. Midwives 10 mins after that.
DS3: At home (planned). DH caught baby. Midwife 2 mins later. HA.
This time, probably just DH, the midwife (if she makes it!) and any of the kids who are around when it happens. Planning home again.

I believe it will be my MW, possibly a second MW if available, an assistant, DH, my mom and dad(he probably won't be in the room, even though he LOVES home births and really wants to be) and DD, who also may just be at the house and come in after baby is born, we'll see!

The first hb was a party, with my mw, her assistant, my doula, my mom, one sister, my older two kids. And xh, who made the labor way longer than it should have been. my dad and other sister were around during labor, but had gone home by the time I got around to actually birthing (I labored for two days).
Second time was just me and my kids. Dh missed the birth by about 90 seconds, and I didn't have my midwife come until an hour or so afterward.
this time I'm hoping to have Dh there...I'm on the fence about the kids, even though they did great with the last one.

If I can get DH to agree, it will just be him, the midwife and whoever the midwife needs to bring with her. I'm considering my kids, but am still unsure about their being there.

My midwife, two assistants, two doulas, a photographer, DH, DD, and Mom.
It was the first time we'd had people other than our doula at our birth. Next time, I don't know if I even want a doula. I might call her for postpartum support. I like to labor by myself so everyone was bored, and pretty much had a pizza party downstairs while I labored upstairs.
