Whether you had a home birth or hospital birth before - What would you change for your next birth?

This time around I want less people. My parents won't be there, no family, no one except myself, DP, and my midwife. I haven't decided yet, but I don't think I'll have my son there either- although I may have it timed to where he can come in just after the birth. My son is a handful and I'm not sure he'd take well to seeing all the different things too.

I'd like to have less lighting, and more relaxing. (Again, less people so that I can relax and theyre not trying to argue over stupid stuff while I'm in labor!!)

Anyways, this time around I also want to birth in the tub, because last time I got out of the tub, got lazy and was in too much pain to get back in the tub. I also want to be much more awake and alert. Last time I went in to labor without sleeping (started labor at 3 am, but couldn't sleep before that) and by the time I gave birth I was literally falling asleep and couldn't stay awake long after the birth.

I also want to have my DP in the tub with me as well, and I'd like for him to help catch the baby. I want a surprise gender so it'll be nice for us to find out together as well.

That's all I can think of really.

You?

If we have another one:

I would obviously want a VBAC (most recent baby was a c/s for complications)
No hospital stay!

As far as different from my other normal deliveries:
More support people around
Music

Not much different LOL
