ya i think i would, assuming i felt a good connection with him, i wouldnt say no based on his gender alone

This is how I feel as well. I wouldn't rule it out just because he was a man.

hmm...that's a hard one. I think my DF would make a great doula - he's got a lot of female energy and is very in tune - but he is not the usual man. I think it may be a bit instinctive to seek an experienced female in this situation - but I wouldn't rule it out.
