We're on 15 acres and neighbors can't see us We're surrounded by woods. The one neighbors that are closest to us (you can see their house if you stand on in a certain spot and peek through the trees lol) are "friends/acquaintances" of ours and know that I home birth.

We live in a very "poor" area, very backwoods/redneck type of living so no one cares to bother us.

One of the reasons we bought land here, was so that we'd be left alone lol

What a cute pic!!!

Don't worry, you'll hear ALL about it I plan on taping it and lots of pics. Not a lot out there on the net so I might put it everywhere for other outdoor homebirth hopefuls and what not.

oh that would be so neat! I saw a video somewhere about a woman who gave birth in a stream somewhere gorgeous and warm, have you seen that one? I love watching homebirth videos and seeing pics so please share with us

If i ever have another one im 100% having a birth photographer, its the only thing i regret not having for my other births

Wish I could afford one. Hopefully my best friend and her family will be able to make it to the birth and she can take the pics. If not I'm going to have to be on DH's butt to do it. He got NOTHING of my last birth, NOTHING. I'm still so upset about that. It's not like he did it on purpose or anything, but still...

I love watching birth videos, as does my kiddo. I think I know which one you're talking about LOL

that would be my biggest worry too, i have quick births, though i think Payson's birth was probably faster since she was born before your MW or anyone made it

My births have gotten faster each time. I'm scared for our next if there is one.

how fast was Payson's birth?

Finn's was 2.5 hours, If we have another one my "goal" (like i really have a say in it LOL) is baby out in less than 2 hours, but i do hope our MW and anyone else we want present makes it on time. Will you have another Unassisted birth (on purpose) next time?

I'm terrified of having a super short labor. I actually want to savor the labor, I enjoy the process and experience even though it's painful and what not.

If I had 2hr labors I wouldn't even count on a MW showing up for me Oh man....
