It never occurred to me, but I always knew I'd do things naturally (well I did get an epi at 10cm with dd1, but almost got it done.. lol).

Since a kid I have always had this very "oooh glitter, something sparkly" nature-spiritual woo-woo side of me. I have always tried to live as close to nature as possible and getting older that meant doing birth naturally (and to me that means home).

It was out of the question with dd1 b/c I had a heart issue, but after her birth and my 2nd pregnancy (m/c at 12wks) my MW told me new studies came out that said ppl like me could have homebirths. It was game on, I never thought anything of it.

I never ever thought I would! My mom is a nurse and it just never occurred to me. It wasn't until my 2nd birth that I knew I wanted something different, something more!
