I want to buy a birth pool for my labor. Around here it is $250 to rent so figured might as well buy one.

Has anybody used the Aquaborn? It's the one I'm thinking of buying. But there isn't a whole lot of reviews about it.

If you didn't use an aquaborn but used a inflatable birth pool which one did you use? How did o
you like it? Pros/Cons?

I'm just getting one off of amazon, one of the cheap fishy ones, can't remember what it's called. I was never particular about the type of tub/pool I was in with either of my girls so I don't want to spend a bunch of money on one.

I just used our bathtub. My friend used the same one Jackie is talking about. Welcome to the board!

I remember with my first pregnancy, my first initial thoughts about homebirthing were and birthing in your OWN bathtub What about those germs?!

I used the fishy pool from amazon 2 weeks ago and Loved it. I'm 6' tall with very long legs and was able to completely stretch out and I loved the inflatable bottom. The sides were very sturdy too.
