Went GREAT, I feel 100% happy and confident with my MWs now, I just think there is too much anxiety during 1st appts, ugh

MW appt went great, heart beat 151, placenta is huge and was blocking baby so we only caught the HB for a few seconds, Kailey was happy to hear it finally. Always measured a week behind with the girls, but I'm measuring closer to 20wks right now, HOLY HELL, all I can think is "I hope it's a tall skinny boy" LOL!! - All labs lookin good so far and she didn't bat an eye at giving birth outside, word. VERY happy, as was nervous after first appt but they eased a lot of fears I had about them being too hands on during this birth. Happy happy happy.

Did a pin prick for iron levels, just to check since it was easy, at 11.9 which is fine. She recommends red meat and spinach instead of liver (if you don't like liver) if levels were to ever get low. They won't b/c I eat red meat and spinach, actually that's what we had for dinner last night too

Just a tip, if you don't like liver but your iron is low you can do liquid chlorophyll (awesome!) or make frozen liver pills to just swallow a few a day We were on the topic of it so thought I'd share those tips if you hadn't heard them before.

Anyway... I LOVE THEM, some reasons why (xposted):
A side note about why I LOVE my new MWs... She mentioned liquid chlorophyll for iron issues (if there were any), and also mentioned (not for liver/iron, just in general preggo/birth stuff) sillium husks, emergen C, witch hazel tincture + apricot something or other she makes, she does natural cleanses for GBS+ stuff, herbal baths, no stitches if it's minimal healing, one of the MWs knows paleo food and the benefits of coconut water in labor, and both MWs attend doula conferences (I think they're certified too, not sure) but they act as doulas and MWs during the birth. I'm totally in love right now!!!!

Very happy
