No, you can be positive one week and negative the next.
It's more accurate to have it tested through urine or blood, I can't remember which.
Even if positive the risk of xfer to baby is so incredibly small (like 0.00001%) or something crazy like that.
There are many natural treatments (like hibiclens) for GBS+.
Aside from all that, there's the contention with antibiotics. I do not like them and believe they should be used in only extreme/last resort circumstances, which GBS is not one of those circumstances IMO.
