Have you had a home birth and a hospital birth? Other than the obvious, you are in control. What was the biggest difference? Did you notice a difference in your babies behavior?

The more I reflect on my homebirth, the more I realize it reminded me a lot of my hospital birth. I didn't have that control that I was wanting. I had more than I did at the hospital, but my MW just wasn't an emotionally connected type of person, she was more of a medwife.

This time my MWs are very laid back and I've been upfront with what I want from the get go. I'm finally putting my foot down and saying "THIS is how this is going to be and no I'm NOT doing that" etc... type of things.

This is going to be a very freeing birth for me as long as everything goes well.
