Could you ever be a surrogate? Would you want a home birth if you were one?

I think I could. I certainly enjoy pregnancy and birth a whole lot, but not sure how I would feel emotionally.

I could definitely be a surrogate. I wanted to start the process of finding a couple, a couple years ago - but ended up deciding against it at that time because of the medications they would have had me use - and it can cause infertitilty (I knew I wasn't done). However, my sister was also looking into it, and went with it - and it turned out amazing! I would put it out there that I'd prefer a home birth, definitely. There are some couples who also prefer that. If not, I'd be okay with a hospital birth with a good midwife. I'd be more open to it than if I was pregnant with my own child, if that makes sense.
navywifey2003 and Earthy.Mama like this.

It does make sense. I feel the same way!

I have seriously considered it many times. I really can't stand the thought of being done with pregnancy and childbirth, even though my husband is putting heavy pressure on me now to be done with kids, if that makes sense. (He's reluctantly agreed to one more, ONLY). Still, I fear that at the end of the day, I might not be able to give the baby up at birth. It would certainly be difficult to do. I'm still thinking about it, though!
