Everyone knows I read Henci Goer's book. lol If you don't already know it by know it's THE THINKING WOMAN'S GUIDE TO A BETTER BIRTH. She no longer needs to pay for advertising. I give her enough for free. lol The book is awesome.

I also read Birthing from Within which really helped me to prepare for the "hard work" of labour and to deal with my mental and emotional ideas about birth and pregnancy.

I love www.unassistedbirth.com :-) Its a refreshing perspective on childbirth.

What books, videos, or websites did you or do you frequent for information?

I needed no "convincing" for a homebirth - I'd always wanted one. I just read some things to help me articulate to DH why it would be a good idea...

I read Ina May Gaskin's "Spiritual Midwifery" and mostly laughed my head off because it was so dated and funny.

Gentle Birth Choices (the video and book set) was awesome! It got my DH on board!

Having a Baby Natually by Peggy OMara, and Henci Goer's THinking Womans Guide to a Better Birth, as well as the two Bradley method books ahve been great resources for me.

I love Ina Mae cause she was such a revolutionary for her time. I got most of my inspiration from online. Homebirth.uk, midwiferytoday, childbirth.org, and bornfree.

I loved Gentle Birth Choices by Barbara Harper, both the book and the video. The video is one every pregnant woman should watch! My library had a copy, check yours.

I've read a lot from Unhindered Living and Laura Shanleys site, and I read a lot of medical research journals. One of my favourite articles is here
