I saw it! I TRY not to watch the day time discovery health, just because it can be so negative about natural birth, and so on.... but sometimes I just cant help myself! I get kind of P/O'ed sometimes at those doctors on there who nearly FORCE women to use drugs and make very unnecessary interventions! But I do like to watch discovery health at night when there are the medical oddities shows. Very strange sometimes, and interesting!

April

P.S. I dont even watch very much TV at ALL but I dont know how you guys live with out cable! I am a sucker for my Food Network!

Uhm, well when it's cable or a weeks worth of groceries it's suprisingly easy! LOL, DH is worse off about it than I am and even he isn't really bothered by it.

Oh, I totally understand that. Our basic cable is included in our rent, and we can add digital for just 12 dollars a month because we get our phone and internet through the cable company, and they call it a bundle deal. I figure at 12 bucks, we might as well have it. Otherwise, we'd be in the same boat!

I barely watch any tv and here we spend around $100 for it! The tv is always going here and the kids don't even sit down to watch it!

I find discovery health more NB friendly than TLC(baby story, surviving mtoherhood). They have the high risk shows but it is understandable that they would have more sections. They have House of Babies and I see quite a few moms standing up to the dr's on BirthDay. They do make it sound liek the mom is crazy or something in the narration though. I saw one with a couple from Denmark or somewhere over that way and they had there baby in a birthcenter and the baby had a fever and the they wanted to give ab's even though they didn't know for sure something was wrong. The father was refusing and they were making a huge deal about it. I can't remember if the parents gave in or not.

I like all the medical shows though not just the birth ones. my dad totally grosses out when I come over and watch them. lol
