Wow, I'm so sorry for what you went through. I too had an unplanned hospital transfer with my last baby. I already had homebirthing experience and thought I knew what to expect. But sometimes things don't go as planned. I mourned that birth for a long time. I, too, had trouble writing my birth story for a long time. It's a good step to write it out though. Let your feelings be heard, it can help with the healing. It's great that you are standing up for yourself against the hospital and staff. Let them know that it's not okay to treat patients that way. I hear your pain and remember clearly when I was feeling some of the same things as you. Like any loss, it does get easier with time. Stay strong and love that precious beautiful baby.
