Since us HBers don't get that three days of hospital food, i figure we have to be better prepared, did you or are you stocking your freezer with easy meals for the week or so after the birth? Please share any good recipes you might have!

I've been doing pretty good I think, i've frozen a couple stews and soups....and the stouffers family size lasagna was half off last week so I got a couple extra.

I meant to, but I never got around to it. As it turned out my church brought us dinners for nearly two weeks from the night Itsy was born (he was born at 8:34 am so someone had time to make us dinner and bring it) until we moved 11 days later.

I've made some lasagnas and cookie doughs, I think sometime in the next week I'll make some enchiladas and some cheesy brocolli bake. But only if I feel really inspired - maybe I'll just laze about and call one of DH's aunts for food - she always takes stuff like that to new families anyway.

Great idea! Just remember if you are going to be breastfeeding brocolli ,chocolate and spicey foods can make baby gassy. If friends and neighbors offer to help suggest a meal . It sure helps.
