I just do not have time for hosting a board. I am swamped and it's not fair to you guys to have a crap host. However, I don't want to leave the board hostless, I don't know if it could stay open if that was the case. PLEASE someone take over this board for me! home birth is beautiful and deserves to be promoted and have wonderful women like you all to answer questions and enlighten people. THis board is so important, I just can't give it what it needs. And seriously, any of you could do a better job, it ain't hard

im kinda feelin that way about the AP board, Im cohost and I get there about once a week. Life comes at you fast, I know.

I love your hosting anyway, so I vote you get to stay even though youre not here much, and maybe someone will step up to cohost for you. I know I cant handle the one board Im cohosting, so it wont be me. But yeah, they can stay open while hostless, at least for a while.

I'd love to help but I know I won't have much time either. My kids are done with school on the 14th and I only have 10 weeks left til #7 is due. Its going to be hectic.

I requested to be a Homebirth co-host a few days ago and haven't heard anything back.

Here's hoping! It takes them a couple days usually!

If nothing else I think two really busy co-hosts could handle it well! We get new threads pretty regularly so it's not so much an issue of keeping the board moving ... popping in a couple days a week each to start one new thread and answer a few questions should be fine.

Abbey, if you think the board needs more promotion, maybe just get a blinkie made for everyone (they could link it) and make sure it says something interesting? And possibly something more eye-catching (also linked) for your own siggy. That way maybe you'd get a lot of click-throughs from DDCs and other "crunchy" boards. That doesn't require a lot of time or effort but would get the new faces and activity.

I know I don't post much anymore but I'm not really comfortable ... since I'm not pregnant anymore. It just brings things up that are still too fresh. I read every new thread though.
