The way she counts I'm in the 35th week and looking good. I didn't gain any weight the last two weeks, but my fundal height grew by four inches! Then she was rubbing around on my belly, checking baby's position. As she did she kept making sounds like "hmmm..." and "huh". Then she asked me, "Do twins run in your family?" Good thing I was laying down! LOL! Twins actually do NOT run in my close family, unless two of my mother's counsins count. So she rubbed around a little more and then said she thinks I just have an anterior placenta, and that is why she was feeling something extra in there. As much as I would love to have twins, I seriously do NOT think I could handle it at this point in our life. Sooo... I'm glad it was just a big fat placenta there in the way.

Oh wow, to hear that at 35 weeks! I agree it would be exciting but definitely overwhelming. My kids keep asking me, "mom what if two babies come out instead of one?" I've been reassuring them that there's only one. (I had an ultrasound at 10 weeks so I know for sure.)

You and I are just about neck and neck. It will be fun to see which of us goes first and to find out what we're having!

wow that would be kinda scary to hear that far into it. It would be exciting but at the same time very hard.

I am glad she thinks it is just your placenta, since this would not be the best time for you

Yeah, we're both in the homestretch (Pun not intended, yuk, yuk.) You're almost a good two week ahead of me, though I think.
