Thanks for checking on me! We're still waiting for baby to declare a birthday, apparently it wanted October and not September! I'll be 42 weeks on Thursday and then I'll go in for an ultrasound to check on placental function, etc if baby hasn't arrived. My Mom is here and she was able to extend her vacation until after the baby is born so I'm feeling a lot more relaxed about things knowing she'll be here after the birth for at least 5 days. Physically I'm feeling very well and have been able to remain very active. Emotionally all this prodromal labor is getting a bit much, but I know it's all for a reason.

Glad you're hanging in there...it CAN'T be too much longer! Hoping you have a quick and easy birth to make up for all this waiting.

Thanks for the support ladies! Everyone around me keeps asking "when will you be induced?" and they look at me like I'm crazy for waiting until 43 weeks as long as the placenta and baby seem well at the ultrasound. I've been induced with my other three and I really want a natural, home birth. I am at peace with knowing that if I make it to 43 weeks then there must have been other plans in store. I just want to meet this little one, and hopefully soon

I've been thinking of you too and wondering how you were holding up. I hope that you don't make it to 43 weeks and that you get the homebirth you have been preparing for!
