DH and I were going out for a last date night before baby arrived and my water broke before we got through the main set of doors at Barnes and Noble. Thankfully we had a towel in the car and a good sense of humor. Nice clear fluid and a good bit of bloody show so baby is on his/her way! The midwife will be over once contractions pick up a bit, they are still pretty manageable right now.

Awesome! I was praying for your sake that baby would decide to move out soon! No one wants an induction, herbal or otherwise. Much better for baby to do it on its own time! And really great that the fluid was clear and such when you're at 42+ weeks! Best wishes, and I'll be thinking about you taday and looking forward to hearing your birth story when you get around to it!

Reid Bradley was born at 8:29 this morning. He weighed in at 9lbs 8oz and a whopping 24" tall! He's a champion nurser already! I had the home birth of my dreams and will post a birth story and photos soon I can't believe he's finally here

Congratulations! Looking forward to the birth story. I love your little one's name- it would have been my third daughter's name if she had been a boy!

Oh I can't wait for the birth story! I hope the midwife was great for you, but it sounds like she really was, and it all went well
