My little girl seems to have missed the memo about hers as well, as she is due today. Um, where did the last nine months go?! Anyway, she doesn't seem to be in a hurry to show her little face, but the day is young. It could happen.

Seems like *most* of us home birth'ers are going past our due dates anyway... How early or how far past yours did YOU go?

Happy due date! When did your last baby come?

My first was 22days early (total fluke)
My 2nd and 3rd were induced on their EDD
My last came 2 days before his EDD

No clue as to when this one will be here....

Rachael was five days late - and induced then. So, no telling how long Amelia will hold out...

Congrats on today being your due date! Don't fret, you're little one will come exactly when she's ready.

My first 4 came a few days early for each. My 5th came 8 days late.

My first was 5 weeks early. Second was a week late. Third was 16 days late (and I was induced). I am kind of expecting this one to also be overdue but hopefully somewhere between 41-42 weeks. I will go insane if I go past 42 weeks again!! But we will see.

Happy due date to you

Reid was 17 days past my due date (42w3d). Totally worth the wait to have the natural home birth that we wanted! My others were all induced and I think they would have been well past my due date as well. I am just a slow cooker

Happy Due Date!!!! I had both of my girls one day after their due date, my first was induced, well my water had already broken, and I didn't have contractions, so they induced me. With Julia, she came on her own just one day late. I hope you aren't waiting too long!!

I think I like your story best, Christine! One day after the due date would be FINE with me...

Rachael was 8 lbs, 5 ozs at five days past her due date, so I'll admit that I'm a little scared of going to 42 weeks (or more, yikes!!) I don't want a 10 pounder if I can help it... But, it's not really up to me, is it?

I was 6 days early with my first, 8 days late with second.

Average gestation is 41 weeks 1 day with the first and 40 weeks 5 days with the second anyways so I never fretted much - but it does suck to see the EDD come & go when youre so ready lol.

Just remember that 2 week on either side of your due date is normal... think of it as a due month.

Ani was 7 days late (hospital)
Cameron was 5 days late (freestanding birthing center)
Fritz was 10 days late (home)

All came in their own time.

Happy post due date! I remember feeling so relieved once my DD had past. Mariska was 10 days late, though I had expected to go much longer.
