Hello ladies!! I actually know some of you from my DDC!! Anyhow! I am just popping in here for a lil advice if thats OK!!!

I am 34 weeks...I will be 35 on Friday. My baby is still laying transverse. I have tried some different excersices to make him shift...to no avail.

Do you have any suggestions, I really am starting to get worried and I dont want, well I wont, go thru the process of them trying to turn the baby, it dont help and just causes pain to the mother and I would think the baby as well. I have had 2 vaginal births and I dont want to have to get cut. Any advice would help!!!! Thank you so much!!

Hi, Amanda! Not sure what you've tried already...I've heard that both the hands and knees position and lying with your hips waaaaay elevated can both help a transverse baby to turn. Also heard great things about the website spinningbabies.com, you might want to check that out.

Hopefully someone else will be able to offer more suggestions...! Best of luck to you!

I second spinningbabies.com it's a wealth of information! Don't sit with your knees above your hips, and try lots of swimming if you can. Good luck, turn baby turn!

Another suggestion here for spinningbabies.com!

Also - get in to see a chiro who works with pg women, theyll have lots of tips & tricks. Its not uncommon for them to turn late in pg. They dont ALWAYS turn late, but a LOT Of them do!

I'll second Lala's chiro suggestion! I had two term breech babies and seeing a Chrio got my last baby to turn at 33 weeks. You've gotten a lot of great suggestions, I hope your little one turns soon for you!
