i went in this morning, fasting as instructed, and and the peri decided i am not a good candidate after all, at least not for now. she suggested instead that i make an appointment with a clinic specializing in women with obstetric histories identical to mine (early cervical change w/ minimal or no ctx, but still carrying to term or near-term.). they would treat to prevent preterm labor while watching my cervix via u/s.

i'm a bit frustrated- i was told after selene that i definitely had an incompetent cervix, just with atypical presentation. i have copies of medical records. apparently though, the attending physician disagreed and later "corrected" my records to say the diagnosis was unclear. i guess he can do that, as my doctor was in her final year of residency and all diagnoses are subject to her attending's opinion, but it doesn't sit right that nobody contacted me to say it wasn't a valid diagnosis, yk?

idk. the peri sent my stuff to my m/w, and says the decision on how to proceed is mine, discuss it with my pcp. in the meantime, continue with limited activity and whatnot like i have been.

Oh Jen, how frustrating for you. I'm sorry there's so much back and forth on what to do right now. Let us know what you decide to do...
