When did you start filling your pool? If you used the la bassine how long did it take to fill up? What type of hose did you use or did you use something else?

It took less than an hour, probably clsoer to 30 mins? We had the La Bassine - we used a marine hose from Lowes & just used a fitting to attach it to the sink faucet

Lala...

Good question... lol

Most of the stories I hear it's about half an hour, depending on HOW you are filling it

We started filling it when the contractions were becoming painful instead of just "uncomfortable." Took about 30 minutes.

Ours took at least an hour, maybe more. But that was because our hot water ran out halfway through and we had to wait for it to re-heat. We didn't use La Bassine though so maybe ours was bigger.

My midwife said today it takes between 30-45 minutes with la Bassine. So probably we will start filling it once my contractions start to get painful rather than uncomfortable. I bought a 50 ft. light duty garden hose, my DH is going to cut it in half and make two hoses out of it so that we have one for filling and one for draining. He also bought a coupler so that we can screw it right to our shower and fill the pool that way.
