I've been reading about baby shower ettiquette and...with all the items we'll be needing for this new baby, a baby shower is going to be neccessary, as well as an emotional booster....but it's looking like it's actually not ok to plan a shower for yourself?
How do I make sure that someone actually throws me a baby shower? I have a small amount of friends, more if you count the ones who are now scattered across the globe, but small still.
I did have a previous baby (who passed away) and no one threw me a shower then, so I think this is a valid worry. Help...I'm going to cry if I don't get one this time!
So sorry for your loss! I would ask a close friend if they wouldn't mind throwing you a shower - if they are a little hesitant, offer to help with it. Good luck and I hope you get a fabulous shower with lots of gifts!
