I was curious how much do you think is reasonable to spend on "thank you" gifts for the hostesses who are throwing a baby shower? I am having two different showers hosted by different people and not sure what would be just right. One is by two girlfriends and the other is by my mil and sil.
Any ideas you could share with me and have you ever received a hostess gift that you just loved? Thanks ladies.
I was thinking a pedicure gift card and a starbucks gift card, but that could get expensive real fast. I just don't know.
I am only having one shower. So I was going to see about mani or pedi gift certificates.
For the MIL or SIL, I would go by what they like. (ie if it were my mom it would be a gift cert. to a scrapbook store, my mil, I would do a mani. card or an altered picture frame with a pic of the munchkins and her in it.)
I think mani/pedicures & Starbucks cards are great ideas. If they are music lovers, you could do iTunes gift cards too. Gift baskets are cute but get expensive quickly, and aren't truly as useful as the gift certificates. That's why gift certs make good thank-you gifts, to me.
