I like to be able to see and touch things (make sure they are cute/well made/etc.) so I rarely buy things off an online registry unless I 'know' it already (ie: a baby bjorn, a saucer, car seat, etc.) - I would not buy clothes or baby blankets, toys. Registering at Target also is a good idea as the other person said.
I would trust a bigger online retailer like Amazon.com. They offer nice online baby registry service. BTW, I found a website with a list of items to put in the registry, all sold by Amazon.com. What do you think of the list?
