As it says in the title, my cousin is due in November.

What would you get for a November baby??? I was thinking a pack of sleepers, a hat, a pair of booties, and some washcloths. She doesn't know what she's having so, yellow, white and green are a must! I went pricing things today, and it looks like for all that it'll cost me around $30.

I would get the sleepers in the 3-6month stage.

Does this seem alright for her???? Honest opinions please!!!!

I have a friend due in november to and I'm going to make her a diaper cake. I'm going to stuff little things like nail clippers, tylenol, trial sizes of powders soaps and lotions, themometer, and the likes between the diapers. I'm going to wrap each layer with a different baby blanket. With that I'm going to give her a bag filled with winter clothes that I bought from a local thrift store that are gender neutrel. She's not against used items so I think she will like it. All the things I'm giving her is 3-6 mths size. I remember buying alot of stuff for my little cousin in 0-3 mth size. His mother and me washed everything so it would be ready for him to wear and when he got here he was 12lbs and almost everything was too little. And we could take the stuff back because it had been washed.

Try to buy clothes a little bigger, most of the time the mother gets more little sizes than what she needs and the baby doesn't get a chance to wear them.
A few other suggestions:
Diaper-(can never have to many) maybe buy size 2 or bigger because again this is usually the stages they don't receive much
Wipes
Teething rings or other toys for when the baby is a little older
Shampoo & Body Wash
Hooded Towels

Good luck on finding something for her.

Thank you all so much for the suggestions!! My sister is going to head to a store at the mall after she's done work, and she called and asked me what she should pick up. I mentioned to her some of the items on the list, and she said she's going to get everything in travel size. Mostly because we're going to have to ship it to my cousin for the shower, and larger items might get broken, or could make the shipping price more than we paid for the stuff!

Thanks again!!! It really helped!!!
