I was registered at Wal-Mart, because the others were over an hour away.

I registered at Babies R Us. I don't like Target's return policy so I decided not to even bother with doing one there.

I registered at Pottery Barn with Kenna. They have more pricey things, but very very nice. You can also see online what things are bought, hehe. I got my whole bedding set from there for my shower, loved it! I also did the usual target and babies r us.

Yes, Target has a terrible return policy. I didn't even bother with them and the lady throwing my baby shower is a Target manager. I chose Babies R US and then WalMart.

I registered Babies R Us because its so easy for friends & family to order & they can ship it right to my house. They also can add personal little notes & even gift wrap.

I tried to do Target, but I was frustrated & soon closed it. Its just easier for me to have one.

Baby Depot at Burlington,
They are cheaper than Babies R' Us, and more selection than Target or other department stores.
Cheaper prices means you'll probably get more gear and essentials rather than clothes most guests splurge on.
Well, I hope :-p

I actually registered on Amazon.com since most of my family is far away, and they were able to go online and order things off my registry and have them shipped directly to my house. I didn't have a formal baby shower so this worked really well.

You should NOT be limited to one store. Don't you wish you could add items from any store in to ONE baby shower registry? Pick items from anywhere and add them into ONE registry? There is a site that makes this possible at NO COST!! Your guests can mark them as purchased - ask for items for the baby OR for mommy like a much needed prenatal massage package OR cash. Its My Gift Registry (my site) offers a FREE service. I wish I came up with this before my two daughters were born -

We registered at:

*BabysRus
*Wal-mart
*Target

I love these stores, and I wanted to give everyone a variety to chose from, so they didn't feel like they had to shop at one particular store....
