Well, Frederick was diagnosed at the ICC with impetigo on his rear end. He has this big red blistery looking thing plus several red small rash spots along his butt and around the area.

I asked the ICC about the croup and they said I'd have to talk to his asthma dr about that.

He also has the beginning of thrus in his mouth from the pulmicort and the prednisone. He has a hard time spitting and keeps swallowing the 'rinse'.

Ugh!

Poor little guy..

Have you thought about using probiotics to prevent oral thrush?

Using probiotics to prevent or eliminate Candida

If you go to a health food store, they sell probiotics for kids in the refrigerator section.. My daughter loves Yumm Yumms..

Yum-Yum Dophilus

Here's another good brand (found in the refrigerator sections )
Flora-Baby - Digestive Care for Baby, Toddler - ReNew Life Probiotics for Children

Edit to add.. If your son is allergic to soy, all the good probiotics have soy in it.. My son has a soy allergy, so how I avoid thrush is brush my son's teeth and rinse after his inhalor treatments.
