So I'm pretty sure Frederick now has pink-eye and a bad cough.

Sorry hon. I think Danny has a lazy eye. We go in Friday to have the ped check it and then get a referral if they suspect it too... ugh. One more doctor to see...

Pink eye is no fun and highly contagious. I hope he doesn't have it. Is his eye all goopy and crusted after a nap? At least that should only take a day or two to start getting better.

Frederick did have pink eye. And his asthma is flairing up for some reason. He keeps like moving around then coughing and wheezing.

He cant get his allergy shot unless he's been albuterol free for 48 hrs.

Don't hold the albuterol if he needs it. The shot can wait if it has to... Sorry he had pink eye. Did they order antibiotics or are they going to let it clear up on its own?

He has gentamicin drops. I drop 3x a day for 5 days.

I haven't. I hope his asthma calms back down. His eye is so much better now.

The eye is much better. But his coughing isn't going away. It stops for awhile with the albuterol treatments, but he wakes up at night coughing as well as when he moves around a lot he coughs. It's almost like a croup cough but its not croup, then throw in some wheezing in the cough and I'm not sure what to do.

I'm going to call his asthma dr tomorrow and tell them he's been coughing on and off for days even with the stepped up albuterol treatment. I've been giving it to him every 3-4 hrs.. and i increased pulmicort to 2x a day.

Im wondering if he needs prednisone again.
