It is basically a nasty, viral URI with LOTS of drainage down the throat that REALLY irritates asthma. Danny has been coughing a lot more today than he had been so we have had Xopenex every 3 hours and may have to stick to that tonight too. He is still not wheezing but has lots of coughing fits on top of the frequent productive cough (from the mucous in his throat, not his lungs). I am really hoping that he clears up quickly with the extra breathing treatments soon...

Oh I hope he starts feeling better soon poor guy. Glad he isn't wheezing, that is good. But coughing is still no fun. KUP on how he is doing.
