I think Danny is turning a corner with this one. He is wheezing less and was able to run around a little today without getting so worked up he needed a "rescue treatment." He still tells me it is hard to breathe a lot but I can't hear any spots where there are rattles and then nothing (pneumonia) so at this point we aren't too worried about that and just assuming it is from inflamation. The Xopenex and Pulmicort are still more or less holding at their time frames aside from the occasional every 2 hour Xop streak that will last 4-6 hours. He will have the coughing fits or cry that it is hard to breathe so we go ahead and squeeze in extra treatments then, but overall he is doing really well.
Well, my mom had surgery on Tuesday morning so I have also had my brothers all week and will until next Friday. They are 5, 5, and 7 years old. Honestly I don't know which is exhausting me more. A sick Danny or a house full of boys.
