Sorry I kind of disapeared. Work has me swamped and when Im posting on JM it's right before I get Frederick up for the day.
Frederick has done fairly well with things considered. Since we started into fall, he hasn't had to have Xopenex as much as he did in August. He did have a flair up last Friday, were he actually started wheezing at school and the teacher administered his nebulizer and it did it's job.
He also woke up Monday sounding awful, almost like he had croup, so he got Pulmicort and Xopenex and he hasn't sounded like that again. His brand new Pediatrician (that we love) thinks, he was having an Asthma flair up from allergies.
We have switched pediatricians and this one is very thorough and even diagnosed strep without a fever- because of his red throat. She did a culuture and it came back, definitely positive for strep. This was a few weeks ago, and he's doing great now.
We're also looking for a new asthma specialist. We have a new ENT too that we adore and he's great with Frederick.
Also the pediatrician said, after reviewing all of our old records, that when Frederick gets croup, it's recurrent croup now because of how often and how many times he's had it. She thinks his is definitely triggered by his Asthma and allergies.
All in all things are going well for us. He loves his school (one he went to summer camp at).
We're also planning to move by October 7th at the latest to a great new apartment that has 1300 sf and 3 bdrms 2 ba.

We're definitely excited about that one.
