Hi, I am Melissa and I am married with 2 kids. DD is 5.5 my asthmatic and DS is 3. I was told at 2 years old with DD that we would have to keep an eye on her and her breathing. It kicked off with a winter of walking pneumonia which lead to a repeat of walking pneumonia every 3 months. She also had this cough that never went away. after a few years of practically living on steroids they finally diagnosed her with asthma at 5. I think we have finally found a treatment that works, Flovent 2 times a day, albuterol twice a day and before any physical activity and Singular. We discovered she is allergic to "furry animals, pollen and certain chemicals found in soaps and lotions. So her asthma is brought on by allergies, excercise and viruses. Yay! I don't let it stop her from doing things though...she might have to rest more then other kids but overall with the treatment we have she is doing well. My main issue now is how mean other kids can be about it
I hope to get to know you ladies!
