Hello, I thought I would post on here with my story. My daughter, Ella, had asthma, and passed away after suffering very severe brain damage caused by her brain being starved of oxygen during an asthma attack. Her asthma really wasn't that bad, so it really shocked our family. It happened so suddenly, we just didn't know what to think.
I'm posting here really just to say that I will definitely stay active on this board and give any advice to you girls who still have kids living with asthma. I'll try and post around, and get to know you girls.
Anyway, I just thought I'd say hi and let you know that I'm around.
Hi, welcome to the board. I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter. Of course we welcome any input. I have been dealing with my daughter's resp. illnesses since she was 2 months old, dx. with asthma at 2.5 years old. Now she is 11 and we have had it under control with meds for the last few years.
Thank you KimberlyD0 for my absolutely beautiful siggy!
