Hello everyone,

I was invited here because I am a tandum nurser and currently breastfeeding my 2 yr old and my 4 month old. I just got the PM today because I've been away for a while. We lost our internet and I really, really missed you ladies here on JM!

I plan to let both of my children selfween. Everything is going very very well so far. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask!

I'm Melanie, I'm also tandom nursing my 18 month old (Audrey) and my 5 month old (Sammie). We plan to self wean also and I have a feeling that wont be for a loooooooooong time to come!!

& congratulations! My 19 month old is self-weaning but I'm holding out hope that she might start nursing again when her brother is born in October.

nice to meet you, melissa (my daughter's name, too!). my name is jaQ, and i'm a fellow michigander. my children are timmy, and my nurser missy (april 2006). i recently found out i'm expecting, and i think it's kind of obvious now that missy will be self-weaning, so there's a chance that i may end up tandem nursing, as well. an awesome thing to do, imo.

For those who have LO's who are selfweaning while your preggers. Audree slowed down a lot while I was pregnant for Jacob. Once he was born however, she sped right up again, definitely don't lose hope!
