We recently past our 21 month milestone. But I'm really starting to feel ready to wean. I'd love to nurse her until she gets all her teeth though. She still has three eye teeth and her 2-year molars to go. I just feel like it's great to be able to offer her comfort when she's teething miserable.

Is anyone else waiting on teeth?

That was my plan too. I loved being able to offer immediate comfort by nursing DD, but since she bites every time now I don't see how I can continue.

21 months is amazing!! Congrats!!

21mo is great! I don't think teeth matter for me, Kieran only has her 2yr old molars left (which my son had around 20-21ish mo) which should be coming soon, she just got her last eye tooth through a couple weeks ago...if I was waiting on teeth I think I'd have to finish before 2yrs and I want to make it to at least 2yrs with her.

Adult teeth or baby teeth?

I'm not worried about Joey getting all her teeth before two. She is a s-l-o-w teether. I've always thought I'd wean either at two or when she got all her teeth, whichever came later.

We're in a similar boat here. Both kids have 4 teeth but those aren't even all the way in yet. Nursing has made teething pretty easy though.
