haha no. why would anyone think i'd still be nursing an almost 2 y/o?!
I can't remember the last time I was directly asked but my MIL hints at the question every time I ask her to b-sit (which isn't that often). She doesn't have a problem with it, she nursed all four of her kids - one until age 3. It's more like she worries that Joey will need to nurse while I'm away.
Just one person and she doesnt seem to tire of it lol. She doesnt agree with it but every time she asks/comments I have something to throw back at her. Recently she was hypothesising how it'd be if I was still nursing DD at college age. I said that it'd be great that if she brought a boy home we could all bond over breastfeeding, I'd just offer him the other.
When I did go back to work 10 months ago people were asking how long I breastfed so with me being honest about the issue it came up that I'm still breastfeeding her. I think some find it bit weird but no one really says much, except that one person (and I just have fun with her comments anyway ).

Nobody outright asks but it's come up in conversation and I have no qualms with telling people I'm still nursing. I hosted a Christmas cookies exchange last week and had a few crumbs from a cookie fall down my shirt. It was a joke that Maddie was going to have milk & cookies for a snack later on.
