Any good tips for tandem nursers. No, I'm not preggo , just wondering. Joey is so possessive of me I can't imagine her sharing.

I honestly don't know! It was super easy for us. Thuya was never jealous or angry about sharing. I repeatedly told him that my milk is the only food his baby brother can have.

I guarantee that tandem nursing helped my boys bond so well.

It was easy for us too beacuse Audrey was only 13 months when Sam was born. I think it could be a harder transition if the older child is older and is used to having the boobies all to themselves.

I also think that nursing both my girls at the same time helped. No one was left out.

Yet another reason we have two of them!

It has not been super easy for us but we have managed! Where there is a will, there is a way! I have mostly nursed them separate but when they have nursed together they share well and hold hands. I think it is a challenging part of mommyhood but I wouldn't have changed it for the world!

I don't remember Abby ever being really jealous when Anna nursed, but as Anna got older, she would get REALLY jealous when Abby nursed.

Not tandem nursing yet. If DD is still nursing then I see myself nursing them at the same time. I figure it's easiest to get the baby latched and then invite the toddler to join the party (any input from BTDT moms?). My supply is barely there and I've started telling her that there is a baby in the tummy and that when the baby comes that it will have milk too but that there will be a lot of milk for everyone. I'm not sure how much she understands but she likes the lot of milk part.
